Gangplank, the Saltwater Scourge, is a prominent champion in the multiplayer online battle arena game, League of Legends. He first appeared upon his original champion release on August 19, 2009.
Born on the lawless island of Bilgewater, Gangplank rose through the ranks of piracy through ruthlessness and cunning. He inherited his father's ship, the Dead Pool, and quickly established himself as the most feared pirate captain in the region.
